Blanchard and Calhoun Institute of Real Estate offers the 75-hour Salesperson Pre-license Course, independent self-study on-line course and CD-ROM computer programs. Our licensed instructors offer you in-depth and thorough real estate instruction to prepare you for the state exam and licensing.

If you are interested in Blanchard & Calhoun's Real Estate School, we offer the in-class Pre-License Course at two locations - Evans Campus and South Augusta Campus.

In order to become a licensed real estate Salesperson or Broker, you must meet the following requirements (unless exempted from one of more of the requirements by the Georgia Real Estate Commission).

NOTE: A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF BASIC COMPUTER OPERATION AND WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM FUNCTIONS IS A PREREQUISITE.

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a resident of the State of Georgia, unless seeking a nonresident license
• Be a high school graduate or holder of a certification of equivalency
• Complete a 75-hour Salesperson Pre-license Course
• Pass a state real estate examination

The computer based and on-line courses may be taken at a location of your choice (home, office or both!).

THEY REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING HARDWARE SPECIFICATIONS:

• IBM PC compatible computer (minimum 350 MHz processer with 64 MB RAM)
• SVGA (800 x 600) video card, driver and monitor.
• Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000*/XP*
• Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or greater (free download available with course)
• Internet connection (minimum 56 Kbps required, although we highly recommend a high speed connection such as DSL, cable or TI)
• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or greater (free download available with course) (CompuTaught courses do not support any "Beta" versions of Internet Explorer)
• Printer (for course documentation and Student Affidavit)

• Be at least 21 years of age

• Have served actively for three years as a licensed Salesperson
• Complete a 60-hour Broker Pre-license Course
